1. Discuss administrative measures that influence the effectiveness of infection control initiatives.
2. Describe safe work practices to prevent HCW exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
3. Explain the role of handwashing in reducing transmission of infection in the healthcare setting.
4. Describe recommended Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to prevent transmission of infection in the healthcare setting.

2. Take the Pre-test.

1. Use the NIH Stroke Scale in identifying and assessing neurological changes in stroke patients.
2. Use the NIH Stroke Scale to quantify and communicate changes in neurological status over time to other health care providers.
